Consuls-General in Guangzhou Ready to Welcome APEC 2026 in Shenzhen

Guangzhou, China – The Guangdong delegation is heading to a session addressing a range of key national priorities, with the organisation of APEC ‘China Year’ 2026 attracting particular attention. The 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting will be held on 18–19 November 2026 in Shenzhen, alongside the APEC CEO Summit and the Joint Ministerial Meeting of Foreign and Trade Ministers. Around 300 events will also be held in various cities across China during the APEC China Year. Consuls-General based in Guangzhou from several APEC member countries spoke about the importance of APEC 2026 in Shenzhen and highlighted Guangdong’s role as a global hub for technology, innovation and trade that reflects the spirit of Asia-Pacific economic cooperation. They also urged diverse global partners to participate in this major event, expressing optimism that APEC China Year 2026 will further boost economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
