Construction of Hospital on Former Sumber Waras Land to Begin August 2026

The Jakarta Provincial Government will soon build an international-standard hospital at Jalan Kyai Tapa Number 1, West Jakarta. Construction on the land purchased from Sumber Waras Hospital is planned to begin in August 2026. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo revealed that the legal issues related to the sale and purchase of the former Sumber Waras Hospital land have now been completely resolved. This means there are no longer any obstacles to developing the 3.6-hectare site. “What is not widely known concerns the Sumber Waras Hospital. Alhamdulillah, the Sumber Waras Hospital issue, which had not been resolved for about 14 years, has finally been settled,” Pramono told journalists in North Jakarta on Tuesday.
