Construction of Central Java People's School 2 Reaches 90 Percent Completion

Workers were seen sweeping classroom floors and inspecting dormitory beds at the Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) Central Java 2 construction project in Rowosari, Semarang, on Wednesday, 24 June 2026. The Semarang city government reported that the development progress of the school, which stands on a 65,000-square-metre plot and is designed to house up to 1,080 students from elementary to senior high school levels, had reached approximately 90 percent as of 24 June. The project is targeted for completion on 10 July 2026, in preparation for its use in the 2026/2027 academic year.
