Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait, along with Angkasa Pura’s President Director Muhammad Rizal Pahlevi, inspected the progress of the temporary housing (huntara) construction for residents living along the Senen railway track in Jakarta on Friday (17/4/2026). Minister Maruarar Sirait (Ara) assured that the housing prioritises habitability and comfort for the community. The units are equipped with complete facilities, such as beds, wardrobes, and others. Ara, together with Angkasa Pura’s President Director Muhammad Rizal Pahlevi, reviewed the huntara construction progress on Friday (17/4). On that occasion, she emphasised that the huntara construction is a quick step to provide decent housing for the people. The huntara construction progress is moving quickly, with a target completion date of 15 June 2026. However, Ara highlighted several technical obstacles that are currently being addressed to ensure the project runs optimally. She hopes that the Senen area huntara can soon be utilised by the community while becoming part of urban area restructuring that is more orderly, safe, and humane.
