Construction expo to be held in March

JAKARTA: A three-day exhibition on building and construction
materials will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center starting
from March 29, the event organizer said in a statement on
Tuesday.

Panorama Convex said that the event, called the Renovation
Expo, would be attended by design consultants and contractors,
and display building materials and renovation-related goods and
services.

"With the recent floods that have hit Jakarta and other major
cities in Indonesia, renovation becomes even more indispensable,
and there is obviously an increased need for both repairing homes
and buildings and making them more flood-resistant," the
statement said.

The organizer expects 60,000 visitors, including architects,
project owners, developers and house owners, to attend the event.
