Constitutional Court to finish all cases
JAKARTA: The Constitutional Court announced on Thursday it had settled a total of 44 motions for judicial review filed last year.
Jimly Asshidiqie, the Constitutional Court president, said the court would continue to clear cases through the end of the year. Among the judicial reviews near completion are the law on the division of Papua province and the law on electricity.
He said the Constitutional Court was eager to clear its backlog of cases. -- JP
