Consistently Strengthening Sumatera's Food Security, Zulhas Receives detikSumatera Awards 2026
Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) received the detikSumatera Awards 2026. Zulhas was recognised for his consistency in strengthening food sovereignty and security in the Sumatera region.
The detikSumatera Awards 2026 ceremony was held at The Trans Hotel Jakarta on Friday evening (28/8/2026). The award trophy for Zulhas was presented directly by detikcom President Director Abdul Aziz.
On this occasion, Zulhas was represented by Deputy for Food Business and Agriculture Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Widiastuti. Zulhas won the Figur Akselerator Kemajuan award in the Strategic Leadership in Strengthening Sumatera’s Food Sovereignty and Security category.
Zulhas was assessed as consistently strengthening food security in Sumatera through increased production, agricultural facilities, supply chains and food stability as part of national food sovereignty.

More than just an awards event, the detikSumatera Awards is expected to spark more strategic collaborations and fresh ideas whose benefits are directly felt by communities in Sumatera.
The event was attended by CT Corp Founder and Chairman Chairul Tanjung, as well as Minister of Environment Jumhur Hidayat and Minister of Culture Fadil Zon.
A number of important figures and regional heads from Sumatera also attended, including North Sumatera Governor Bobby Afif Nasution, Bengkulu Governor Helmi Hasan, Jambi Governor Al Haris, Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani, and South Sumatera Deputy Governor Cik Ujang.
In addition to the executive ranks, legislative figures were also present, such as Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives Andre Rosiade, Member of Commission V Musa Rajekshah, and Member of Commission X Karmila Sari. From the police, South Sumatera Police Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho and Bengkulu Police Chief Inspector General Yudhi Sulistianto were in attendance.
