Consistently Spreading Benefits: Rohis Pegadaian Distributes 4,500 Qurbani Meat Packages
Rohis Pegadaian, the Islamic Religious Organisation, continues its commitment to social welfare through the slaughter and distribution of sacrificial meat for the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha. Held under the theme ‘One Sincerity, Million Benefits,’ the slaughter event took place at the Amanah Bersama Agro Standard Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Jatimurni, Pondok Melati, Bekasi City, on Wednesday, 29 May 2026. Through this tangible action, PT Pegadaian not only focuses on aggressive business growth but also balances it by strengthening its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) pillars. Amid the company’s significant strides as Indonesia’s first Bullion Bank and a national financial digitalisation accelerator, this act of compassion demonstrates that corporate ecosystem modernisation proceeds hand-in-hand with tangible social welfare contributions. ‘Through this initiative, Pegadaian is fully committed to delivering inclusive social benefits for the community while reinforcing unity within the company and with partners,’ said Ferdian Timur Satyagraha, PT Pegadaian’s Director of Finance and Strategic Planning. The occasion of Eid al-Adha, he added, is not only an act of worship and devotion to Allah SWT but also a crucial reminder for corporations and all Pegadaian staff of the importance of sincerity, compassion, and sharing with others. This year’s Qurbani saw Rohis Pegadaian collect a total of 22 animals—14 cattle and 8 goats—through organic contributions from the Ummah Welfare Fund (DKU), individual employee participation, and full support from strategic corporate partners including Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Galeri 24, and PT Lotus Lingga Pratama. Technical calculations project these animals will yield approximately 4,500 high-quality Qurbani meat packages. To ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and halal standards, the slaughter and processing were handled entirely by professionals at the standardised RPH. The meat packages will then be mobilised to the Kebon Nanas distribution point for targeted delivery to eligible recipients and local communities. This centralised distribution model is applied to minimise crowd gatherings and maintain orderly aid delivery on the ground. Through this Qurbani synergy, PT Pegadaian expressed its highest appreciation to all parties, business partners, and committees involved. This social initiative aims to foster stronger communal spirit while supporting the government’s Asta Cita programme towards Golden Indonesia 2045 through equitable food nutrition and grassroots welfare enhancement. Present at the event were PT Pegadaian’s top executives, including Human Capital Director Tribuana Tunggadewi; Risk Management, Legal and Compliance Director Ismail Ilyas; Marketing, Sales and Product Development Director Selfie Dewiyanti; and Transformation Office SEVP Rully Yusuf. Also present were Rohis Pegadaian Chairman Ustadz Sugeng and Amanah Bersama Agro RPH owner Vidi Julianto.
