To the respectable members of the City Council in charge of public transportation.

Lately, as a taxi driver, I have had difficulty trying to earn a living from this job. The gross earnings are not enough for the rental fee, let alone for my own pocket.

Please do not take sides with taxi companies only. Please consider the fate of taxi drivers. They have to leave home at 5 a.m. and do not return home until half an hour after midnight the next day.

I agree, in principle, to the rise in the taxi fare. The trouble is that the hike is too high. Flagfall, for instance, could be just Rp 2,500.
