Conservation cadres formed to identify flora and fauna in Tombo Forest
A participant observes bird movements during a beginner-level nature conservation cadre programme in the forest area of Tombo Village, Bandar District, Batang Regency, Central Java, on Wednesday (15/7/2026). The Central Java Environment and Forestry Service’s Regional Forestry Branch IV, together with PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (PT BPI), established the conservation cadre programme, which was attended by 20 participants. The programme focuses on identifying flora and fauna as part of a biodiversity inventory in the Tombo Village forest. Participants also crossed a river while taking part in the field activities.
