Connecting Young Families with Affordable Housing
The Ciputra Group-developed self-contained city of Citra Maja City is continuing to expand its footprint in the western Jakarta corridor. To respond to strong demand for practical and affordable housing, the 2,000-hectare township has formally introduced new housing variants offering one- and two-bedroom options.
The new homes are designed specifically to meet the needs of younger generations, newly formed families, and urban residents seeking a home within a mature and integrated self-contained city ecosystem.
General Manager Legal-Land-Permit of Citra Maja City, Hardian Achiardi, said that the one-bedroom units are currently marketed at a highly competitive price, starting around Rp110 million. Meanwhile, the more spacious two-bedroom type is offered from around Rp185 million.
‘This option provides a significant opportunity for the wider public to own a property asset in an area that has developed rapidly with increasingly complete facilities,’ Hardian said in a written statement on Friday, 22 May 2026.
One of the main advantages of Citra Maja City is its strategic location and its public-transport-friendly concept. The residential gateway is about 500 metres from Maja Station.
That proximity makes it easier for residents who rely on the Commuter Line (KRL) to travel daily to Jakarta’s business centre and other satellite regions, with travel times of around 70 minutes.
In terms of lifestyle amenities, the self-contained city ecosystem offers a range of commercial and social facilities, from places of worship and educational facilities to green spaces such as Theme Park Tera Garden, Eco Club sports facilities, a CGV cinema, and hundreds of shopfronts for food and daily necessities.
Beyond infrastructure, Ciputra Group also aligns its business with corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to preserve local customs. This is exemplified by their full support for the annual Seba Baduy ritual, held 23–26 April 2026.
The cultural event marked an important moment in maintaining harmonious relations between Indigenous communities and the government. Notably, this year’s Seba Baduy event was attended by ambassadors from partner countries, including Russia, Iran, Palestine and Bosnia.
‘Citra Maja City’s support for the Seba Baduy festival is tangible evidence of our commitment to preserving local culture. This aligns with our vision to provide decent and affordable housing for the Lebak community and its surroundings,’ Hardian said.
During the Lebaran promotional period, the developer is offering the ‘All Wahana’ package at Rp90,000 per person.
