REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The strengthening of an integrated economic ecosystem is becoming the focus of financial industry players amid the increasing need for fast and connected transactions. Collaboration between banking, businesses, and consumers is seen as increasingly important to drive efficiency and expand economic activities.

This effort is reflected in the organisation of XPORIA 2026 at Jakarta City Hall from 20–23 April 2026, which brings together various business sectors on a single transaction platform.

Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H Widodo stated that the event is part of a strategy to build more integrated economic connectivity. “XPORIA is not just an exhibition, but an experiential space that connects merchants, customers, and banking services within one ecosystem. This is part of our commitment to building more efficient and integrated economic connectivity,” said Agus on Thursday (23/4/2026).

During the event, various products from sectors such as culinary, fashion, gold, property, and automotive are presented in one interactive space. This approach aims to encourage transactions while strengthening business networks and digital financial service literacy.

Agus assessed that strengthening the integrated economic ecosystem is key to expanding collaboration with merchants and increasing transaction activities. “Through this event, we want to connect merchants and customers so they can transact more easily and efficiently. Ultimately, this will tangibly drive Jakarta’s economic wheels,” he said.

He added that banking does not only act as a financial service provider but also as a connector of various economic elements within a collaborative ecosystem.

Jakarta Provincial Secretariat’s Assistant for Economy and Finance Suharini Eliawati viewed the event as capable of strengthening the role of regional banking in supporting the economy. “This is a positive step in strengthening the role of Bank Jakarta as a strategic partner to the local government as well as a driver of the economic ecosystem,” said Suharini.

Bank Jakarta’s Director of Business and Sharia Dipo Nugroho stated that synergy between financial services and digital technology is an important foundation in developing an inclusive economic ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Bank Jakarta’s Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi assessed that a collaborative approach is needed to create added value for all stakeholders. “Going forward, we will continue to promote service innovations and expand collaborations to create a more inclusive and sustainable financial ecosystem,” said Arie.

The integration of services and cross-sector collaborations are expected to become the main strategy in strengthening the competitiveness of regional banking amid changing consumer behaviour that is increasingly digital.
