Confused About Reporting Certificate Issues? Here's How to Complain to BPN
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) provides various complaint channels for the public experiencing land issues, including those related to certificates. These channels are prepared to facilitate the submission of complaints, aspirations, and suspected violations in a faster and easier manner. Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of ATR/BPN, Shamy Ardian, stated that public complaints are an important part of public service supervision. According to him, public complaints also serve as material for evaluation to improve policies, operational standards, and work methods within the ATR/BPN environment. Currently, ATR/BPN provides four official complaint channels that can be used by the public. First, through the WhatsApp hotline service at number 0811-1068-0000. Second, complaints can be sent via email to surat@atrbpn.go.id. Third, the public can also submit reports in writing through the correspondence counter by attaching supporting documents. The Ministry of ATR/BPN claims that each channel is equipped with clear procedures so that complaints can be handled appropriately and transparently by the authorised units. For complaints via letter, the public is asked to write a complete chronology of the problem and include supporting evidence documents. The letter can be submitted directly to the correspondence counter on weekdays or sent to the Ministry of ATR/BPN office in South Jakarta. As for through SP4N-LAPOR!, the public needs to log in using a registered account, then write the report clearly by including the time and location of the incident. Users can also attach evidence such as photos or documents. After the report is sent, the public can monitor the progress of handling through notifications on their respective accounts.
