Confession of SPPG Head Who Abducted and Raped a Primary School Pupil in East Lampung

An individual identified by initials DD (29), the head of the SPPG, was arrested by police after abducting and raping a primary school pupil in East Lampung Regency. The perpetrator admitted to being obsessed with young children. ‘I like young children,’ DD was quoted as saying, reported by detikSumbagsel on Thursday (5 March 2026). DD acknowledged awareness of a sexual deviation within himself, but he said he had never consulted a doctor. ‘I have never (sought treatment),’ he stated. DD, who had been in the post for just seven months as head of an SPPG in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency, said he regretted his actions. ‘I am sorry, Sir, I am sorry,’ he added. In response to the offender’s confession, Purbolinggo Police Chief AKP Irwan Susanto explained that DD had previously carried out similar acts against victims he selected randomly. ‘He has no target; it was random. If he liked someone, they became his target. From the investigation, the offender had also carried out such acts at other locations with other victims but failed due to resistance,’ he said.
