Condolences for Mandala victims

It is with sadness that we, the United in Diversity Forum, learn of the tragic passing of Governor Rizal Nurdin.

Indonesia lost another one of its best sons; the people of North Sumatra lost a great leader; and others who have come to know and work with him lost a dear friend and a fine colleague.

While no words can ease the pain of their loss, it may be of some comfort to know that he made a difference in the lives of many Indonesians and that he will live on in the hearts and minds of us all.

Our heartfelt condolences also go out to the families of other victims in the Mandala air crash. May the loving memories of your loved ones give you the strength to go through this most difficult time.
