Condemn the bombing!

The recent horrifying, terrifying bomb blast in front of the
residence of the Philippine ambassador to Indonesia in Jakarta --
in which two were killed and dozens seriously injured as well as
surrounding buildings damaged -- is extremely harmful not only to
the victims concerned but also to the nation as it has damaged
Indonesia's image in the international forum.

It certainly has had a negative impact on Indonesia's economy
in general, and tourism in particular. By now, foreign tourists
may have canceled their visits to this country for security
reasons. They would be afraid of a reoccurrence of that bloody
bombing in other areas of Indonesia including seaside/mountain
resorts. Economically, the bombing has undoubtedly considerably
increased the growing concern for the safety and security of
projects involving foreign investment, which might also result in
cancellation of planned foreign investments.

I don't care who could have been behind the bombing. I
strongly condemn it and am asking all peace-loving communities to
condemn it, too, because bombing is extremely inhumane as it
damages everything and brings about increased hostility as well
as hatred.
