Computer venture planned

JAKARTA (JP): PT Versa Data Systemindo of Indonesia plans to
form a joint venture on computer services with Industrial and
Financial System (IFS) of Swedia.

The company said in a statement yesterday that the new venture
will develop IFS Applications, including data, maintenance,
manufacturing, distribution, shop floor and financial management
systems.

The statement said the two companies had agreed to cooperate
on the establishment of a research and development center on
information technology in Indonesia. (rid)
