Computer exhibition to begin

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Computer Entrepreneurs
Association (Apkomindo) will hold its third exhibition,
IndoComtech '94, at the Jakarta Hilton Convention Center from
Sept. 7 to Sept. 11.

A spokesman for the association, Chris I. Japari, told
reporters here yesterday that 80 companies will take part in the
exhibition to provide the latest information on computer
technology.

Discussions and seminars on technological innovations in
computer hardware and software will coincide with the exhibition.

Students from the University of Indonesia and the Bandung
Institute of Technology will be displaying their innovations in
computer technology as well.

Chris said the exhibition is expected to attract around
100,000 visitors. Total trade transactions during the exposition
are projected at Rp 10 billion (US$4.6 million). (05)
