Composite Index Closes Weaker at 0.37 Per Cent to 7,362 Level
Jakarta – The Composite Stock Index (IHSG) closed weaker on Thursday 12 March 2026. According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the IHSG fell 27.28 points or 0.37 per cent to 7,362.12.
The IHSG opened at 7,398.85, higher than the previous close of 7,389.40. Throughout trading, the index touched a high of 7,436.50 and a low of 7,323.74.
Total trading volume reached 24.66 billion shares with transaction value of approximately 13.35 trillion rupiah and frequency of 1.566 million times. Market capitalisation stood at 13.123 trillion rupiah.
Several main indices also moved variably. The LQ45 fell 1.06 points or 0.14 per cent to 751.19. The KOMPAS100 corrected 6.48 points or 0.63 per cent to 1,020.92, whilst the IDX30 strengthened 1.72 points or 0.43 per cent to 400.50.
Sharia indices were also mostly in negative territory. The Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) fell 1.42 points or 0.29 per cent to 491.75.
The Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) weakened 0.73 points or 0.39 per cent to 186.13, whilst the Indonesia Syariah Stock Index (ISSI) fell 0.96 points or 0.37 per cent to 259.24.
The transport and logistics sector strengthened 22.71 points or 1.26 per cent to 1,830.99. The financial sector rose marginally 0.43 points or 0.03 per cent to 1,395.46.
On the other hand, several sectors were in negative territory. The cyclical consumer sector fell 20.73 points or 2.04 per cent to 996.30.
The raw materials sector weakened 30.69 points or 1.44 per cent to 2,099.95, whilst the property sector corrected 13.23 points or 1.38 per cent to 945.01.
The energy sector also corrected 21.04 points or 0.55 per cent to 3,777.97, whilst the non-cyclical consumer sector fell marginally 0.48 points or 0.07 per cent to 712.29.
