Compliance of JKS 03 Pilgrims Earns Praise as Hajj Return Process Proceeds Smoothly Without Luggage Inspections
The discipline and compliance of the JKS 03 Hajj group from Bogor Regency in adhering to aviation regulations have earned appreciation from the Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) at Jeddah Airport and Saudia Airlines. The entire group was noted for their orderliness, specifically for not carrying Zamzam water in their large suitcases or cabin luggage during the return process to Indonesia.
Fitsa Baharudin, a representative of the Airport PPIH, expressed gratitude for the compliance of the JKS 03 pilgrims regarding the established rules. “Alhamdulillah, we greatly appreciate the JKS 03 pilgrims for not including Zamzam water in their luggage,” said Fitsa Baharudin.
Similar praise was offered by Saudia Airlines. According to the airline, the pilgrims’ adherence to baggage regulations allowed the flight preparation process to proceed more quickly and efficiently, as no additional inspections or luggage unpacking were required.
“We are very grateful to the JKS 03 pilgrims for following the rules so well by not bringing Zamzam water or other prohibited items, which made the boarding preparation very fast,” stated the airline representative.
The Head of the JKS 03 group, Ade Irawan, noted that this recognition serves as evidence that Indonesian pilgrims, particularly those from West Java and Bogor Regency within this group, possess a high level of awareness regarding regulations. “Our pilgrims, specifically JKS 03, were very law-abiding by not bringing Zamzam water in their luggage, a rule we had informed them of beforehand,” said Ade.
He explained that this compliance directly impacted the smoothness of the departure process from King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah. All stages of inspection and flight preparation were completed without significant obstacles. “Alhamdulillah, entering the airport and the flight preparation process did not take long. In fact, the airline stated that JKS 03 was the best because there was no drama involving unpacking suitcases, making the process rapid. This proves that JKS 03 follows the rules. Thank you to the JKS 03 pilgrims,” he added.
Ade expressed hope that the values of discipline, obedience, and piety demonstrated during the Hajj pilgrimage could be maintained upon returning to Indonesia, viewing such attitudes as a hallmark of a successful (mabrur) Hajj.
