The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued a coastal flood warning. A number of regions across the country are advised to be alert to the potential for tidal flooding from 8 to 22 July 2026. Citing the BMKG’s Instagram account @infobmkg, the Perigee Moon and New Moon phenomena on 14 July 2026 have the potential to increase the maximum sea level.
