Complete List of Judge's Verdicts for Nine Defendants in Oil Case: 9-15 Years Imprisonment
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — A judicial panel has officially sentenced nine defendants in a corruption case involving the governance of crude oil and refinery products at state-owned PT Pertamina (Persero), its subholding companies and cooperating contractors (KKKS) during the 2018-2023 period.
The sentencing hearing took place at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) of the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Jakpus) on Thursday (26 February 2026) from 16:00 WIB until Friday early morning (27 June 2026).
The verdicts were structured in three clusters, each comprising three defendants. The first cluster, Pertamina Patra Niaga, included: Riva Siahaan (RS), former Chief Executive Officer of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga; Maya Kusmaya (MK), former Director of Central Marketing and Trading at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga; and Edward Corne (EC), former Vice President of Trading Operations at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
The second cluster, PIS-KPI, consisted of: Sani Dinar Saifuddin (SDS), former Director of Feedstock and Product Optimisation at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional; Yoki Firnandi (YF), former Chief Executive Officer of PT Pertamina International Shipping; and Agus Purwono (AP), former Vice President of Feedstock Management at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional.
The third cluster, private sector defendants, included: Muhamad Kerry Adrianto Riza (MKAR), beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and son of Riza Chalid; Dimas Werhaspati (DW), Commissioner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim; and Gading Ramadhan Joedo (GRJ), Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim and Chief Executive Officer of PT Orbit Terminal Merak.
The following are the detailed verdicts for the nine defendants:
Pertamina Patra Niaga Cluster:
Riva Siahaan: 9 years imprisonment with a mandatory fine of Rp1 billion payable within one month (extendable for a maximum of one month) following the verdict. If the fine is not paid, moveable property shall be seized and auctioned; should seized assets be insufficient, the sentence shall be commuted to 190 days imprisonment.
Maya Kusmaya: 9 years imprisonment with a mandatory fine of Rp1 billion payable within one month (extendable for a maximum of one month) following the verdict. If the fine is not paid, moveable property shall be seized and auctioned; should seized assets be insufficient, the sentence shall be commuted to 190 days imprisonment.
Edward Corne: 10 years imprisonment (one year longer than Riva and Maya) with a mandatory fine of Rp1 billion payable within one month (extendable for a maximum of one month) following the verdict. If the fine is not paid, moveable property shall be seized and auctioned; should seized assets be insufficient, the sentence shall be commuted to 190 days imprisonment.
PIS/KPI Cluster:
Yoki Firnandi: 9 years imprisonment with a fine of Rp1 billion. However, should Yoki fail to pay, the sentence shall be commuted to 190 days imprisonment.
Sani Dinar Saifuddin: 9 years imprisonment with a fine of Rp1 billion, subsidiarily 190 days imprisonment.
Agus Purwono: 10 years imprisonment with a fine of Rp1 billion, subsidiarily 190 days imprisonment.
Private Sector Cluster:
Muhamad Kerry Adrianto Riza: 15 years imprisonment with a fine of Rp1 billion, subsidiarily 190 days imprisonment, plus an additional penalty requiring payment of compensation in the amount of Rp2.9 trillion, subsidiarily 5 years imprisonment.
Dimas Werhaspati: 14 years imprisonment with a fine of Rp1 billion, subsidiarily 190 days imprisonment.
Gading Ramadhan Joedo: 14 years imprisonment with a fine of Rp1 billion, subsidiarily 190 days imprisonment.
