Complete List of Astra Infra EV Charging Stations on the Trans-Java Corridor 2026

Jakarta — Astra Infra is preparing electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) at rest areas throughout the Cipali and Tangerang-Merak toll road sections as a mitigation measure against congestion at congestion-prone points during the anticipated surge in motorists using electric vehicles for the 1447 Hijri Eid holiday.

Astra Infra has provided SPKLU at all rest areas along the Astra Cipali toll and Astra Tangerang-Merak toll roads. These facilities are equipped with a choice of medium, fast, and ultra-fast charging options that allow users to minimise charging time during their journey, according to Rinaldi.

For those planning to travel for the holiday, charging stations are available on the following toll routes:

Astra Tol Tangerang-Merak: stations available in both directions towards Merak and Jakarta.

Astra Tol Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali): stations available in both directions towards Cirebon and Jakarta.

Astra Tol Jombang-Mojokerto: stations also available.

Rinaldi emphasised that if SPKLU facilities within rest areas are full, EV users are advised to seek facilities outside the nearest toll section.

Thanks to the implementation of a closed tolling payment system, holidaymakers can exit toll gates to charge at SPKLU stations around nearby arterial routes and re-enter to continue their journey without incurring additional charges as long as they remain on the same route.

Traffic data from seven days before Eid on Saturday, 14 March 2026, showed sharp increases in traffic volumes.

Beginning today, Sunday, 15 March 2026, Astra Infra is implementing a 30 per cent toll discount for through-traffic on the Tangerang-Merak and Cipali sections. This discount applies until Monday midnight, a measure intended to distribute traffic flow more evenly to prevent congestion on peak days.
