The presence of the Commuter Rail (KRL) has significantly eased mobility for residents of Yogyakarta travelling to Solo and its surrounding areas. In addition to affordable fares, the KRL offers numerous travel options throughout the day.
Based on the schedule uploaded to its official website, the KRL route from Jogja to Solo departs from Tugu Station (Yogyakarta). The service stops at 12 stations, namely Lempuyangan, Maguwo, Brambanan, Srowot, Klaten, Ceper, Delanggu, Gawok, Purwosari, Solo Balapan, Solo Jebres, and Palur.
In total, there are 15 daily KRL trips on the Jogja-Solo route. However, one specific service, identified by train number KA 730 F, does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays.
