Competing for Hipmi Chairmanship, Jona: All Competitors Are Family

Prospective candidate for the chairmanship of the Central Executive Board (BPP) of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi), Ade Jona Prasetyo, has affirmed that his side will compete joyfully, as he considers all participants to be family. He conveyed this during his return visit to the BPP Hipmi Secretariat at Bidakara II Building, 17th floor, to submit the registration form for the BPP Hipmi chairmanship for the 2026-2029 period on Friday, 17 April 2026. Among the five names that collected the forms, Jona was the first to return his registration form. “Submitting the form is one of the stages that has been undertaken in the effort towards the 18th National Conference (Munas) of HIPMI,” said Jona in his statement on Friday, 17 April 2026. Jona, who is also the Deputy General Treasurer of BPP Hipmi, advised all parties, especially his winning team, to compete fairly. Because essentially, all chairmanship candidates and their success teams form the larger Hipmi family. “This team was formed in the name of brotherhood and friendship; support is allowed without offending others. Do not be easily provoked or stirred up for the sake of brotherhood and friendship,” stated Jona. He mentioned that the support from the eight BPDs that have provided recommendations is merely to meet the minimum requirements set and due to time constraints. Jona promised to invite other regions to collaborate, aiming to position Hipmi as an economic power network. “Of course, we will continue to embrace and seek support from all BPDs across Indonesia,” he said. On the same occasion, Sona Maesana assured that his team would compete without burden and prioritise Hipmi brotherhood. “We will compete joyfully,” said Sona. He explained that Jona is promoting the tagline “Stepping Forward, Embracing, and Collaborating” because, in his view, Hipmi needs to build an economic culture based on the spirit of brotherhood, mutual support, and prioritising each other in business activities. “This concept emphasises that the organisation’s strength will grow larger if its members contribute to creating a healthy, productive, and mutually beneficial internal economic circulation,” he stated. It is known that Jona’s arrival was accompanied by the Head of the Success Team Sona Maesana, Team Secretary Rezki Wirmandi, and hundreds of success team members complete with Ade Jona For Hipmi One attributes. Eight Chairmen of Regional Executive Boards (BPD) also joined in accompanying him.
