Compensation for Three Fallen TNI Personnel in Lebanon Exceeds Rp 1.8 Billion
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto has provided entitlements to three TNI personnel who fell in Lebanon. All of them died while serving as United Nations Peacekeeping Forces (UNIFIL). Agus explained that for Captain Inf (Posthumous Major) Zulmi Aditya Iskandar, the TNI provides insurance savings of Rp 16,285,700, special death risk compensation of Rp 450 million, scholarships for two children totalling Rp 60 million, UN death compensation of Rp 1.2 billion. In addition, the late recipient receives watzah funds of Rp 7.5 billion, Army Mandatory Housing Savings (TWP AD) of Rp 20.9 million, personnel accident coverage of Rp 10 million, and death compensation from banking of Rp 130 million. “The total amounts to Rp 1.89 billion (1,894,688,236),” said Agus in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/3/2026). Furthermore, Zulmi also receives the “Dag Hammarskjold” medal award and continued salary for 12 months (basic salary, meal allowance, position allowance). “The widow’s pension will be paid continuously after the continued Hajj is completed,” stated Agus. Meanwhile, for Staff Sergeant (Posthumous Master Sergeant) Muhammad Nur Ikhwan, according to Agus, the total received is Rp 1,846,309,049. The difference from the previous one is the insurance savings amount of Rp 7.17 million. Similarly, for Private First Class (Posthumous Corporal) Fariza Rhomadhon, the compensation is Rp 1,854,075,205. “Those figures consist of the cash value of insurance savings, special death risk compensation, scholarships for two children, death compensation from the UN, watzah funds, TWP AD, personal accident, death compensation from banking,” said Agus.
