Company donates blood, milk

JAKARTA (JP): One hundred employees and executives of
electronics company PT Prima Global Elux donated blood Thursday
for people suffering from dengue fever.

The donation was witnessed by Melanie Wikanta, an Indonesian
Red Cross executive, and Fredrik Ramen, the president of
Electrolux Asean.

"We hope other companies will follow in our footsteps," Ramen
said.

On the same occasion the company, which assembles and
distributes Electrolux brands, also donated 500 kilograms of milk
powder to three orphanage foundations: Yayasan Fisabillilah,
Yayasan Tuna Ganda and Yayasan Amelia. (jun)
