Commuter Rail Disruption at Pasar Senen: Six Routes Shortened

JAKARTA — Commuter Line services on the Cikarang/Bekasi–Kampung Bandan corridor were subjected to service pattern changes due to locomotive operations disruption at Pasar Senen Station on Friday, 22 May 2026. The information was cited by Kompas.com from the official Instagram account @commuterline on Friday morning. ‘We apologise for the locomotive operations disruption at Pasar Senen Station and for the queue of train trips. The issue is currently being addressed by staff on site,’ wrote KAI Commuter. As a result, several train trips are only operating up to certain stations and do not proceed along their normal routes. KAI Commuter also temporarily routes the Cikarang/Bekasi–Kampung Bandan via Pasar Senen service only up to Jatinegara or Pasar Senen. Meanwhile, the Cikarang/Bekasi–Kampung Bandan via Manggarai service only goes as far as Kampung Bandan or Kemayoran. The following is the operational pattern disruption implemented: ‘We will continue to provide periodic information updates as the handling at the location develops,’ wrote KAI Commuter.
