Community's money?

Ismuzar of Pejaten, South Jakarta, wrote a letter on the
Minister of Religious Affairs Tarmizi Taher's explanation at the
House of Representatives that the interest of the Haj Pilgrims'
Dana Abadi (eternal fund) now amounts to Rp 300 billion. I am
amazed at this amount.

The minister also told the House members that "it is not the
community's money". This is strange and amazing too. Where does
the money come from? Does the money not belong to the community?

I hope he clearly explained the matter of bank interest of the
dana abadi so that people are not left wondering. What is the
ultimate destination of the money? Will it be an eternal fund
that is beyond reach?
