The Prime Ramadan Bazaar Jakarta 2026 at Jakarta City Hall took place festively over two days on 9-10 March 2026. The event, organised by Perumda Pasar Jaya in partnership with the Jakarta Provincial Government, presented dozens of UMKM vendors and social programmes that were enthusiastically received by the community.

Held from 10:00 to 16:00 Western Indonesia Time, the bazaar featured diverse products ranging from culinary items and fashion to household necessities. A total of 49 UMKM vendors participated, offering various local products to visitors.

Several participating vendors included fashion retailers such as The Sandal’s, Asra Hijab Mayestik, Persija Store, Tokoh Zahara, and Al Ghivar Tanah Abang. Culinary vendors included Ina Cookies, Dude Dapur, Arabian Snack, Ubei Coffee and Sahabat Coffee, Nasi Kapau Uda Sari, and Sate Ayam Haji Yanto, amongst many others.

UMKM operators offered various attractive promotions throughout the bazaar, enabling visitors to shop at more affordable prices.

By the second day, the bazaar area was again crowded with visitors from early morning. The public sought various Ramadan necessities, from food and beverages to Islamic fashion, prayer equipment, and other local products.

One of the most sought-after programmes was a subsidised staple goods scheme provided by Pasar Jaya in collaboration with Food Station and Dharma Jaya. Through this programme, essential goods packages valued at 150,000 rupiah could be purchased for just 100,000 rupiah.

A total of 1,500 staple goods packages were prepared for the public during the event. Long queues were visible at the package exchange area from midday onwards, indicating strong public interest in the programme.

One visitor, Sinta, said she deliberately came to the bazaar after learning about the affordable staple goods scheme. According to her, the discounted packages were very helpful, especially with increased household needs approaching Ramadan.

“I think this helps tremendously because the prices are genuinely cheaper. Especially as Ramadan approaches, household needs usually increase too,” Sinta told detikcom at City Hall on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

She believed the subsidised staple goods programme significantly eased household expenses. Sinta also mentioned browsing various products at the bazaar stalls, noting that many items were offered at quite affordable prices.

“When there’s a bazaar like this, I usually have a look around. If I find something I like and the price is attractive, I’ll shop,” she said.

Beyond the social programme, the bazaar also served as a promotional platform for UMKM operators to introduce their products to the public.

One fashion vendor from Paradise Land Tanah Abang Market, Adi, said the bazaar presented an opportunity to promote local products whilst expanding his market reach.

“It’s worthwhile—this is a good opportunity for us to further develop our business whilst introducing locally-made products,” Adi explained.

He noted that the products he sold were all from his own brand, ranging from shirts to various men’s clothing items.

“All the products we brought are our own brand. Here we focus on branding so people can directly see the quality of our materials and tailoring,” he elaborated.

Although food vendors appeared to attract larger crowds, Adi said such bazaars still benefited fashion entrepreneurs in introducing their products to the wider public.

The Prime Ramadan Bazaar Jakarta 2026 was presented by Pasar Jaya in partnership with the Jakarta Provincial Government and supported by Bank Jakarta, Food Station, and Dharma Jaya.

Through this event, Pasar Jaya hoped the bazaar would stimulate UMKM economic circulation whilst making it easier for the public to obtain Ramadan necessities at affordable prices.

Pasar Jaya invited the public to attend and support the Ramadan bazaar, which featured various local UMKM products and attractive promotions for visitors.

The Prime Ramadan Bazaar Jakarta 2026 was one of the activities creating festive atmosphere as Ramadan approached in Jakarta. Beyond offering shopping choices to the public, the event also created promotional opportunities and sales growth potential for local UMKM operators.
