COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT RECOGNITION: On May 28, PT Arara Abadi and
PT Wira Karya Sakti were awarded the Certificate of Appreciation
by President Megawati Soekarnoputri in recognition of their
achievement in implementing community empowerment programs, which
improve the living standards of local communities. Both are
plantation companies in Riau and Jambi provinces. Their
philosophy is to grow and develop together with local
communities, through various programs designed to increase the
potential of human resources, technically, financially and
socially.
