The growth of national commodity futures trading activity continues to show a positive trend. Nevertheless, this acceleration in transaction volume is considered unlikely to last long if it is not supported by the establishment of a trading ecosystem that is transparent, safe, and sustainable.

In response to this trend, PT Didimax Berjangka (DIDIMAX) is focusing its business strategy on strengthening four main operational pillars: public education, customer support services, development of digital trading technology, and improvement of human resource quality.

Didimax’s President Commissioner, Yadi Supriyadi, said that amid dynamic global economic conditions, industry players must be adaptive to the public’s growing need for fast and responsive access to information and digital services.

“The growth of trading activity cannot be separated from the importance of building a healthy and sustainable ecosystem. For the company, achieving trading volume is not merely about numbers, but part of a journey to create an increasingly better transaction experience,” Yadi said in a statement.

As futures trading instruments become increasingly popular, Didimax highlights the importance of public education as a risk mitigation instrument. The industry’s high-risk, high-return characteristics demand a deep understanding from prospective investors before making transaction decisions.

Yadi emphasised that industry players have a responsibility to encourage the public to understand market mechanisms, the application of risk management, and the macroeconomic factors that influence price movements. According to him, a mature understanding will produce quality and measurable trading activity.

“We want to ensure that every achievement becomes an impetus to carry out continuous evaluation and improvement. Going forward, the company will continue to innovate and improve service quality to maintain customer trust,” he added.

From an industry perspective, Didimax assesses that competition in the futures trading sector will become increasingly tight along with the rapid development of financial technology. To maintain market stability, collaboration between futures brokerage firms, futures exchanges, clearing houses, and regulators is crucial in creating a professional and responsible transaction climate.

The development strategy focused on service quality is also reflected in the company’s transaction volume, which consistently records high growth in the industry. Based on historical data, Didimax recorded a transaction volume (Highest Exchange Traded Volume) that earned it the Top Achiever title from the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) and Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI).
