Committed to safety and security

PT Gatari Air Service is one of the players in the Indonesian aircraft charter industry. Established in 1983, it has 23 aircraft.

The company's services in the Indonesia market are mainly in mining and coal companies, especially foreign companies such as Caltex, Conoco, Unocal, Vico, Mobil Oil, Gulf, Arco and Shell.

Customer trust comes from the company's good performance and quality services, which are achieved by continuous evaluation, tight quality control and a conducive work environment.

PT Gatari Air Service's President Director Titik W. Poejoko said: "Our commitment is to always maintain the performance and quality of our services. Health, safety and security are our obligations to customers. By applying international standard services, the company earned its ISO 9001 certification from DNV Sweden in 1995."

PT Gatari Air Service is now in the process of improving the quality and professionalism of its human resources by carrying out training, both domestic and international. The training center owned by PT Gatari Air Service is opened for use by other aircraft charter companies; and, of course, this is an extra income for the company.

"High-quality services, quoting competitive prices to customers and guaranteeing the safety and welfare of employees are indications that PT Gatari Air Service is ready to entry the eras of globalization and open market competition," Titik said.

She said the company's strategy is to apply alliance strategy and aggressive efforts to maintain its survival operation against tight competition. Easy and quick transference of regulations and permits are some factors that are needed to maintain a conducive climate in the aircraft charter industry.
