PT Pegadaian’s commitment to strengthening Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and its corporate secretarial functions has earned significant recognition. Pegadaian successfully secured the award for Winner of Indonesia Best Corporate Secretary for Governance Excellence 2026 at the Corporate Secretary Champion 2026 event, organised by SWA Magazine in Jakarta on Tuesday (01/09).

This award was presented in recognition of the success of Pegadaian’s Corporate Secretary function, led by Dwi Hadi Atmaka, in supporting governance reinforcement and building transparent, effective, and constructive corporate communications with stakeholders.

The award serves as an acknowledgement of the consistency of all members of Pegadaian’s Corporate Secretary team in performing their strategic roles professionally and innovatively. The corporate secretarial function plays a vital role in facilitating cross-stakeholder coordination while ensuring that GCG principles are well-implemented at every operational level. Dwi Hadi Atmaka, Corporate Secretary of PT Pegadaian (Persero), stated that this achievement is the result of strengthening the corporate secretarial role and managing close relationships with stakeholders.

“This achievement serves as an incentive for us to continue improving the quality of governance and corporate communication professionally and innovatively. We believe that managing close and transparent relationships with stakeholders is the key to performing the corporate secretarial role while strengthening the company’s reputation,” said Dwi.

The winner selection process involved rigorous evaluation by a jury panel from 7–9 July 2026. The assessment covered several criteria, including Compliance, Investor Relations, Government Relations, Media & Public Relations, CSR Programmes, and Crisis Management Handling, which form the foundation of the corporate secretarial workflow. Under the event’s scoring standards, participants achieving a minimum score of 70 passed, with the predicates ‘Good’ for 70–<80, ‘Very Good’ for 80–<90, and ‘Excellent’ for ≥90. Pegadaian achieved a ‘Very Good’ rating in the competition.

The Corporate Secretary Champion 2026 award adds to the growing list of accolades received by Pegadaian. The company remains committed to continuously improving the quality of governance, corporate communication, and stakeholder relationship management to support its strategic objectives. In line with this, Pegadaian also continues its efforts to provide the best service with a spirit of heartfelt service, while introducing products and services that are increasingly relevant to the needs of the community.
