Commitment to Creating a Transparent Investment Climate and Quality Licensing Services in Regions
The Musi Banyuasin Regency Government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing transparent, efficient, and accountable public services, particularly within the business licensing and investment ease sectors. The Vice Regent of Musi Banyuasin, Abdur Rohman Husen, personally attended the 2026 Investment Service Awards (ALI) held at the Nusantara Auditorium, Suhartoyo Building, Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (16/09/2026).
At this national-level event, Musi Banyuasin Regency achieved a proud milestone by becoming a nominee for the Best National Regency Government for One-Stop Integrated Services (PTSP) Performance and Business Implementation Acceleration (PPB) Performance for 2026.
Accompanying the Vice Regent were several key officials, including the Head of BPKAD, H. Riki Junaidi; the Head of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), Jonni Martohancara; the Head of the Plantation Office, Drs. Bustanul Arifin; and the Head of the Fisheries Office, Sunaryo.
The event was attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet, including the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, Rosan P. Roeslani; the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli; the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas, Maruarar Sirait; the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Rini Widyantini; and the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto.
In his report, the Secretary of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, Rudi Salahuddin, explained that the 2026 performance evaluation covered 571 assessment objects, comprising 25 ministries/agencies and 546 local governments. The assessment process was based on Presidential Regulation Number 42 of 2020 and Investment Minister Regulation Number 2 of 2022, involving independent assessment teams from various ministries, Kadin Indonesia, and verified survey agencies.
The Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, Rosan P. Roeslani, expressed high appreciation for all local governments and ministries/agencies that continue to transform to ease the business climate in Indonesia.
“Certainty of time, openness of information, and ease in licensing services are the primary keys to attracting investment interest, both from within and outside the country. The ultimate goal of all these system improvements is to create widespread and high-quality employment for the community,” said Rosan.
The Vice Regent of Musi Banyuasin, Abdur Rohman Husen, expressed his gratitude and hopes regarding the achievements attained by the Musi Banyuasin Regency. He expressed hope that this recognition would serve as a continuous motivator for all Musi Banyuasin Regency officials to improve the quality of public services.
“Achieving status as one of the best national nominees should not lead to complacency, but rather serve as a driver for motivation to continue innovating and making sustainable improvements. Our hope for the future is that licensing services in Musi Banyuasin Regency can become even faster, more transparent, and provide real ease for both investors and local MSMEs,” stated Vice Regent Abdur Rohman Husen.
He also added that a conducive and entrepreneur-friendly investment climate in the region is ultimately expected to create new jobs and boost the overall welfare of the people of Musi Banyuasin.
