Commission XI Approves Five Candidates for Chair, Vice-Chair and Executive Leadership of OJK
Jakarta — The Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) has approved five candidates to fill leadership vacancies at the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, OJK). The approved positions include Chair, Vice-Chair, and three Executive Head roles.
The decision was announced by Commission XI Chair Mukhamad Misbakhun following an internal meeting held on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, after the completion of fit and proper testing. The decision was reached through consensus by Commission XI.
The approved candidates for the Board of Commissioners (Anggota Dewan Komisioner, ADK) positions are:
Chair: Friderica Widyasari Dewi
Vice-Chair: Hernawan Bekti Sasongko
Executive Head for Capital Market, Derivative Finance and Carbon Exchange Supervision: Hasan Fawzi
Executive Head for Financial Sector Innovation, Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets (IAKD): Adi Budiarso
Executive Head for Education and Consumer Protection: Dicky Kartikoyono
These five appointees will be formally confirmed by the full DPR in a plenary session scheduled for 12 March 2025.
President Prabowo Subianto had previously submitted a list of ten candidates to the DPR for fit and proper testing before Commission XI. These ten candidates were selected from a total of twenty candidates who had passed the initial administrative screening conducted by the selection panel. The process aims to fill five vacant ADK positions at the OJK.
The ten candidates who underwent fit and proper testing on 11 March 2026 were:
