Commission VII: ANTARA Must Always Remain Relevant to the Times

ANTARA – During the recess, Commission VII of Indonesia’s House of Representatives visited the ANTARA News Agency at the Antara Heritage Centre in Pasar Baru, Jakarta, on Thursday (15 October). Commission VII Chair Saleh Partaonan Daulay said ANTARA was highly important in the context of contemporary news coverage.

He said he believed ANTARA was willing and able to report on efforts to empower micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and programmes to alleviate poverty for the benefit of the wider public, and to distribute that coverage through its network across the country.
