REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, WEST BANDUNG – The Commission III of the West Java Provincial DPRD (Jabar) has ensured that the performance of regional banking remains optimally maintained while encouraging improvements in service quality to the public.

The Chairman of Commission III of the West Java DPRD, Jajang Rohana, assessed that the performance of the Bank BJB Padalarang Branch shows a very positive trend. This is reflected in the growth of third-party funds (DPK), credit disbursement, and the continuous increase in profits.

In addition, the non-performing loan ratio has also decreased. Meanwhile, low-cost funds continue to rise, which serves as an indicator of healthy and prospective financial conditions.

Overall, Jajang stated, the performance of the Bank BJB Padalarang Branch is very good. DPK, credit, and profits all show positive trends, with NPL even experiencing a decline.

“This indicates that management is running optimally and the prospects ahead are quite promising,” Jajang said during a working visit to inspect the construction of the BJB Padalarang Branch Building on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

The visit was conducted as part of the evaluation of partner performance for the 2025 fiscal year and the first quarter of 2026. Jajang stated that these positive achievements are hoped to serve as an example for other branches in improving performance and contributions to regional income.

On the other hand, Commission III of the West Java DPRD is also pushing for the acceleration of the completion of the new Bank BJB Padalarang Branch office construction. The presence of the new building is considered important to enhance comfort and service quality for customers.

“We encourage the completion of this office building as soon as possible. So far, customers have been operating in the old location near the market, which is less comfortable. Yet the new building is already available and just needs to be fully utilised,” he said.

Commission III hopes that the acceleration of the new building’s completion can be realised soon, so that services to the public become even more optimal and representative.
