Commission II of the DPR Holds Meeting with Interior Minister and Head of OIKN to Discuss 2026 Work Programme
Commission II of the DPR RI held a working meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Head of the National Border Management Agency (BNPP), and the Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) this afternoon. The meeting discussed the 2026 work programmes of Commission II’s partner institutions.
The meeting took place in the Commission II DPR RI meeting room, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday (30/3/2026), chaired by the Chairman of Commission II of the DPR, Rifqinizamy Karsayuda. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian and the Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono.
“We express our highest thanks and appreciation, as well as our deepest longing, especially to the Minister of Home Affairs who is able to attend Commission II of the DPR RI today. Let us give him a round of applause,” Rifqinizamy stated during the meeting.
Rifqinizamy said that today’s meeting agenda concerns the presentation of the 2026 work programmes. The DPR will also address the follow-up on the 2025 BPK audit results.
“Today’s agenda first is the oversight and presentation of the 2026 work programmes from the Ministry of Home Affairs, BNPP, and the IKN Authority. Second, discussing the follow-up on the 2025 BPK audit results for our partner institutions present here today,” he added.
In the meeting, Rifqi also spoke about the recent global uncertainties. His side wishes to seek explanations from partners on how to respond to those conditions.
“As the coordinator of local governments, 546 autonomous regions in Indonesia—provinces, regencies/cities—we place our hopes and regard the Ministry of Home Affairs as our eyes and ears,” Rifqinizamy said.
“To ensure that all our local governments are still running well, public services can still be carried out, and the basic needs of the people are still well served. Once again, certainly in a not easy situation,” he added.
