The demand for air conditioning systems in the commercial sector is becoming increasingly diverse as building characteristics and indoor activities evolve. Cooling systems are no longer only required to maintain comfort, but must also adapt to capacity, building design, usage patterns, and operational efficiency needs.

These changing requirements have opened opportunities for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) providers to offer more flexible solutions, particularly for projects with varying scales and levels of complexity. This opportunity is being pursued by FLiFE, an independent local company and brand, which is expanding its market from residential and small-scale cooling products into the Commercial Air Conditioning (CAC) and HVAC segments.

This expansion was marked by FLiFE’s debut at the RHVAC Indonesia 2026 event, held from 9–11 September 2026 at NICE PIK 2. During the event, FLiFE introduced its portfolio of CAC, Light Commercial Air Conditioning (LCAC), and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems for the first time. This move positions FLiFE in a broader market, ranging from commercial needs to projects with more complex building characteristics, targeting professionals, contractors, consultants, and project developers.

For the Commercial AC segment, FLiLE offers several options such as Duct, Cassette, and Floor Standing units. Duct AC allows indoor units to be placed behind ceilings for seamless integration with interior design, supporting both vertical and horizontal installations. Meanwhile, Cassette AC is designed for more even air distribution via ceiling installation, available in both Standard and Inverter options. Floor Standing (FS) units are intended for larger areas, providing powerful airflow and optimal cooling range.

Beyond Commercial AC, larger-scale project needs are being addressed through the FRV (FLiFE Refrigerant Volume) Series. The FRV Series provides VRF solutions using a multi-split concept, allowing a single outdoor unit to accommodate multiple indoor units according to space requirements. The portfolio includes the FRV 10HP (1 Drive 2), FRV Mini Series (Non-Modular and Modular), FRV X9 with a Modular Side Discharge design, and the FRV 7C with a Modular system.

Indoor unit options are tailored to building characteristics, including Duct Type (Medium and High Static), 1-Way Cassette, Cassette, Compact Cassette, Fresh Air Unit, Wall Mounted, and Floor-Ceiling types. For large-scale projects, the FRV X9 can be expanded modularly up to 104 HP, while the FRV 7C supports modular capacities up to 144 HP. In terms of installation, the FRV X9 supports total piping lengths of up to 560 metres with a height difference of up to 50 metres, while the FRV 7C supports piping up to 1,000 metres with a height difference of up to 130 metres.

Entering the commercial market also makes technical support and after-sales service a vital part of the company’s strategy. At RHVAC Indonesia 2026, FLiFE held a technical presentation titled ‘Integrated HVAC Solutions Across Industries: Enhancing Productivity, Energy Efficiency, and Operational Reliability’. The session, presented by Leonard Hansen, CAC Trainer Manager at FLiFE, covered HVAC capabilities and the application of the FRV Series in various building types.

FLiFE also offers a 24/7 ‘Always On’ service to provide technical assistance and handle product complaints daily, including holidays. This service covers support from selection and installation through to operational use.

On the industrial side, FLiFE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian National Association of Consultants (Inkindo). FLiFE was represented by Anderson, General Manager of FLiFE Indonesia, while Inkindo was represented by Ir. Erie Heryadi, M.H., Chairperson of the National Leadership Council. The partnership aims to enhance knowledge and competence in the HVAC field through joint training and technical guidance. Inkindo will also provide promotional support, both online and offline, to help FLiFE introduce its products and solutions to its network and members.

Anderson, General Manager of FLiFE Indonesia, stated that the expansion into the HVAC market is not merely about adding products, but also about the ability to provide comprehensive project support. “Through FLiFE’s presence at RHVAC Indonesia 2026, we want to demonstrate that HVAC solutions are not just about products, but about how a system can meet total project needs. From solution flexibility and technical support to after-sales service, we are committed to providing value and reliability to our customers and partners,” Anderson said.

As part of this expansion, FLiFE emphasised its status as an independent local company and brand. Product procurement, brand management, and after-sales services are managed independently. FLiFE also clarified that it has no ownership relationship, brand affiliation, or technology licensing with GREE.

The expansion of the CAC, LCAC, and VRF portfolio is a strategic step for FLiFE to penetrate deeper into the Indonesian commercial HVAC market, targeting increasingly diverse cooling needs in terms of scale, building design, capacity, and operational patterns.
