The National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) of Tabanan Regency is organising several activities to commemorate Bung Karno Month throughout June 2026. The prepared competitions include Scouts at the junior high school level, fashion, stand-up comedy, cooking, karaoke, comedy, and the Pancasila Ambassador oration contest.

The Head of Kesbangpol Tabanan, I Putu Dian Setiawan, stated that the series of activities will take place from 1–30 June 2026 at various locations across Tabanan. The Scout competition is one of the primary activities, involving 38 junior high schools from across the Tabanan Regency.

The competitions aim not only to instil discipline in the younger generation but also to educate students on the importance of environmental cleanliness through waste sorting.

The scheme involves participants starting a march from the Singasana Struggle Park (TMP) towards the I Ketut Marya Arts Building, ending at Bung Karno Park. The first 19 teams will be dispatched in rotation with an interval of approximately five minutes.

Meanwhile, the subsequent teams, numbered 20 to 38, will participate in a waste cleaning competition along the route traversed. “We want to instil values of discipline as well as environmental awareness. The scouts are not just marching; they are also actively encouraged to sort waste and maintain cleanliness,” said Dian Setiawan.

For the oration competition, participants will address various current issues relevant to the lives of the younger generation. “Issues that can be raised include the dangers of drugs, illegal online loans (pinjol), the phenomenon of online gambling, the culture of reading and writing literacy, as well as various social challenges faced by teenagers today,” he emphasised.

The committee has also prepared prizes for the winners of the waste cleaning competition, with a total budget of approximately IDR 1.5 million for the first, second, and third place winners as a form of appreciation.
