Jakarta — General Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), issued Telegram Number TR/283/2026, ordering a Level 1 alert for all TNI ranks. The telegram was signed by Assistant Operations (Asops) to the Commander, Lieutenant General Bobby Rinal Makmun, in Jakarta on 1 March 2026. Third: The Strategic Intelligence Agency (Bais) should order Indonesian defence attaches (athan) in affected countries to document, map, and plan evacuation of Indonesian citizens (WNI) if needed, and coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu), the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI), and relevant authorities in line with escalation in the Middle East. Fourth: Kodam Jaya/Jayakarta should patrol at obvit strategic sites and embassies and anticipate developments to maintain conduciveness in the Jakarta Special Capital Region (DKI Jakarta). Fifth: The TNI Intelligence Unit should carry out early detection and pre-emptive action against groups at obvit and embassies and anticipate developments to maintain conduciveness in the DKI Jakarta region.
