Commander appoints TNI officials; Kapuspen to Kapusdalops officially change hands

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - General Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), presided over the handover of several strategic TNI posts. The ceremony took place at the Gatot Subroto Hall, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday (21 May 2026).

According to the TNI Public Information Centre (Pusat Penerangan TNI), one of the posts changing hands is the Chief of Information (Kapuspen) of the TNI, with Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah handing over the post to Brigadier General Muhammad Nas. Next, Brigadier General Wawan Pujiatmoko handed over the post of Chief of Information and Data Processing Centre (Kapusinfolahta) to Brigadier General Heldi Wira.

The handover ceremony was attended by a number of senior TNI officials.

“The handover of positions within the TNI is part of the organisational and personnel development mechanism to safeguard leadership continuity and enhance the effectiveness of task execution,” read a statement from the TNI Public Information Centre (Puspen TNI), quoted Friday (22 May 2026).

This leadership regeneration is expected to enable each unit to adapt to the dynamics of duties and the developing strategic challenges.
