Commander appoints Brigadier General Muhammad Nas as Head of the TNI Public Information Centre

The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, General Agus Subiyanto, led the handover of several strategic posts at the Gatot Subroto Hall, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday, 21 May 2026. One of the posts handed over was the Kepala Pusat Penerangan TNI, or Kapuspen TNI, the head of the TNI Information Centre.

The Kapuspen TNI post was handed over from Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah to Brigadier General Muhammad Nas. The change forms part of a rotation of several strategic posts conducted by the TNI Headquarters.

The handover of posts within the TNI is regarded as part of the organisational and personnel development mechanism to maintain leadership continuity and enhance the effectiveness of task execution.

“Through leadership regeneration that proceeds continuously, it is hoped that every unit can continually adapt to the dynamic duties and evolving strategic challenges,” wrote Puspen TNI in a press release, Thursday, 22 May 2026.

In addition to the Kapuspen TNI post, the Commander also presided over the handover of the Head of the Centre for Health Fitness and Integration of the TNI, or Kapuskersin TNI, from Rear Admiral Donny Suharto to Colonel Infantry Perry Sandhi Sitompul.

The post of Kepala Pusat Informasi dan Pengolahan Data TNI, or Kapusinfolahta TNI, was also handed over from Brigadier General Wawan Pujiatmoko to Brigadier General Heldi Wira. The Kapusdalops TNI post, Head of the Centre for Operations Control of the TNI, was handed over from Brigadier General Hendri Wijaya to Colonel Infantry Lukman Hakim.

The handover ceremony was attended by senior TNI officials and related invitees. The posting changes are regarded as part of the leadership regeneration within the TNI to support the organisation’s task execution amid evolving dynamics of strategic challenges.
