PT TASPEN (Persero) has launched the “Comfortable Homecoming with TASPEN 2026” programme, deploying 35 bus fleets serving various routes across Java and Sumatra with a total of 1,400 participants.

The bus fleets have departed from several locations including Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) and TASPEN’s Head Office in Jakarta. As part of the Free Homecoming initiative by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), this programme aims to facilitate the public in returning to their hometowns safely and comfortably during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H celebration.

Through this programme, TASPEN provides free transportation facilities for the general public who wish to celebrate Eid with their families. To ensure service quality, each fleet has been thoroughly coordinated and equipped with travel companions.

All mudik participants also receive life and personal accident insurance protection from Taspen Life in the form of Taspen Group Personal Accident coverage with insurance benefits (UP) valued at IDR 20 million per participant, ensuring the journey is safe, comfortable, and orderly until reaching the destination.

TASPEN Corporate Secretary Henra stated that the Comfortable Homecoming with TASPEN 2026 programme represents TASPEN’s commitment to stakeholders, including the Indonesian public. “We not only provide transportation facilities, but also ensure every traveller feels secure during the journey with travel accompaniment and life insurance from our business group, namely Taspen Life,” said Henra.

TASPEN has also expanded the programme’s reach by providing 15 buses for employees within government ministries. The allocation includes 5 buses for the State Secretariat Ministry, followed by TASPEN’s support for the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), the Ministry of Human Rights, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), each receiving 2 buses. This collaboration reinforces TASPEN’s role in building synergy between institutions to support more orderly public mobility during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H period.

All bus fleets in this year’s homecoming programme have been designed to reach several main destination cities that serve as mudik destinations for the public, including Semarang (via northern route), Yogyakarta (via southern and central routes), Madiun (via Cipali Toll), Malang (via Yogyakarta and central route), Solo-Sragen, Surabaya (via northern route), Padang, and Jambi.

In addition to transportation facilities, TASPEN has also prepared various forms of support for mudik participants including merchandise and travel supplies, such as participant t-shirts and caps, tumblers, umbrellas, and paper bags. The organising committee also provides packages of light medications such as muscle oil, motion sickness remedies, and other health supplies to support comfort during the journey.

Through this homecoming programme, TASPEN seeks to present an initiative that can provide added value and positive benefits to the public. This strengthens TASPEN’s role as a Centre of Excellence in managing social security for state apparatus, consistently prioritising excellent service, cross-institutional collaboration, and sustained contribution to the welfare of the Indonesian people.
