Comfortable Homecoming: TASPEN Dispatches Thousands of Migrant Travellers to Various Destinations
PT TASPEN (Persero) has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by launching the “Comfortable Homecoming with TASPEN 2026” programme, dispatching 35 bus fleets serving various routes across Java and Sumatra with a total of 1,400 migrant travellers. The bus fleets launched from several locations including Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) and TASPEN’s Central Office in Jakarta.
As part of the Free Homecoming initiative by state-owned enterprises, this programme aims to facilitate the public to return to their hometowns safely and comfortably during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H holidays. Through this programme, TASPEN provides free transportation facilities for the general public wishing to celebrate the Eid holiday with their families.
To ensure service quality, each fleet has been carefully prepared and equipped with journey companions. Additionally, all participants receive life and personal accident protection from Taspen Life in the form of Taspen Group Personal Accident insurance with coverage of Rp20,000,000 per participant, ensuring journeys are safe, comfortable, and orderly until reaching their destinations.
TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary Henra stated that the 2026 Comfortable Homecoming programme represents TASPEN’s tangible presence for its stakeholders, including the Indonesian public. “Therefore, we not only provide transportation facilities but also ensure every traveller feels secure during their journey with accompaniment and life insurance from our business group, Taspen Life,” he said.
TASPEN has also expanded the programme’s reach by providing 15 buses for employees within ministry settings. The allocation includes 5 buses for the State Secretariat Ministry, followed by TASPEN support for the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, the Ministry of Human Rights, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Development Planning Agency (each receiving 2 buses).
This cooperation underscores TASPEN’s role in building inter-agency synergy to support more orderly public mobility during the Eid 1447 H period. The bus fleets for this year’s homecoming programme have been designed to reach major destination cities favoured by migrant travellers, including Semarang (via northern route), Yogyakarta (via southern and central routes), Madiun (via Cipali Toll), Malang (via Yogyakarta and central route), Solo–Sragen, Surabaya (via northern route), Padang, and Jambi.
TASPEN has also prepared various support for participants including merchandise and travel supplies, such as participant t-shirts and caps, tumblers, umbrellas, and paper bags. The organising committee has also provided packages of light medication including essential oils, motion sickness remedies, and other health supplies to support travel comfort.
Through this homecoming programme, TASPEN seeks to present an initiative that can provide added value and positive impact for the public. This not only supports smooth homecoming travel for the public but also strengthens TASPEN’s role as a centre of excellence in managing social security for state apparatus, consistently prioritising excellent service, cross-institutional collaboration, and sustained contributions to the welfare of the Indonesian people.
