Comfortable Homecoming Journey with State-Owned Enterprises; PNM Facilitates Hundreds of Mudik Participants Without Financial Worries
JAKARTA — The 2026 Free Mudik State-Owned Enterprise Programme was officially launched through a flag-off ceremony held at the Gelora Bung Karno area in Jakarta on 17 March 2026. The programme represents a collaborative effort amongst various state-owned enterprises to provide safer, more orderly, and more comfortable homecoming journeys for the public.
This year, the programme successfully served more than 116,000 mudik participants heading to over 200 districts and municipalities throughout Indonesia, surpassing the established target.
The programme’s presence reflects the state’s commitment to ensuring citizens can celebrate Eid al-Fitr more meaningfully through integrated and inclusive transportation services.
In line with this spirit, Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has participated in the Free Mudik Programme by Facilitating hundreds of mudik participants.
This participation forms part of PNM’s contribution towards providing more affordable homecoming journeys and addressing the needs of those wishing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in their hometowns.
For PNM, mudik is understood not merely as a physical journey but also as a socially significant moment — one about maintaining family bonds, fulfilling longing, and nurturing the values of togetherness deeply rooted in society.
Through involvement in this programme, PNM aims to ensure more members of the public can experience safe and comfortable travel without being burdened by transportation costs during the high mobility period before Eid al-Fitr.
PNM’s Corporate Secretary, Lalu Dodot Patria, stated that PNM’s participation represents the company’s commitment to continuing to serve the community. “Not only through financing and empowerment, but also during important social moments,” he said.
Through the theme “Comfortable Homecoming Journey Together,” PNM is committed to helping the public undertake their journey home in a more orderly, safe, and comfortable manner so that the joy of gathering with family can be experienced more fully.
