Color of Jogja exhibition at JEC

YOGYAKARTA: The Association of Indonesian Exhibition
Businesspeople (Asperapi) is holding an exhibition of
various products at the Jogja Expo Center, entitled The
Color of Jogja.

According to Chairman of the Asperapi Yogyakarta branch
Rachmad Hidayat, some 12 event organizers and 150 companies
operating in Yogyakarta province participated in the five-day
exhibition, which was officially opened on Wednesday and will run
through Sunday.

"We aim to achieve transactions of up to Rp 5 billion during
the exhibition," said Rachmad, adding that the target was
realistic given that the level of interest of local people in
making transactions during the exhibition was considerable.

Besides, he said, the price of products exhibited
was very competitive.

"Yogyakarta people are open-minded. They like to visit
exhibition and are not reluctant to buy things at an
exhibition," he said. --JP
