Collaboration with KUD Merthaguna Praya to Boost National Kaylix Production Capacity
Zentide (PT Zentide Bioteknologi Global), a seaweed-based agricultural biotechnology company, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KUD Merthaguna, located in Praya, Central Lombok, in a recent ceremony.
The collaboration aims to increase Kaylix production capacity, a seaweed-based soil conditioner developed using Zentide’s leading biostimulant research principles, to support distribution and the needs of farmers across Indonesia.
The signing of the MoU represents a strategic step for Zentide in strengthening the supply chain and expanding manufacturing capacity, in line with growing market demand for sustainable, efficient and environmentally friendly agricultural solutions.
Kaylix is formulated using bioactive compounds from Indonesian seaweed enriched with beneficial microorganisms, designed to improve nutrient uptake efficiency, enhance soil biological activity, and increase plant resilience.
With increased production capacity through this partnership, Zentide aims to support farmers’ needs across various commodities nationwide.

Under the partnership, KUD Merthaguna will play a role in supporting production processes and strengthening the supply chain of locally sourced raw materials. The collaboration is expected to generate positive economic impacts for the local community while boosting the competitiveness of domestically produced biostimulants.

With the strengthening of production capacity in Central Lombok, Zentide is confident it can broaden Kaylix distribution more evenly and responsively to farmers’ needs across regions, while encouraging a reduction in reliance on synthetic chemical fertilisers through biotechnology-based solutions.
