Coffee and Music Blend Enlivens Independence Day
The +62 Coffee R-I Fest 2026 music and lifestyle festival officially closed its event series at Open Space & Gambir Expo, JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Sunday (16/8/2026). Attended by thousands of visitors since 14 August, the fifth edition of the festival celebrating Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day successfully combined cross-genre music performances with the experience of enjoying local coffee.
The festival organisers divided the performances into three major themes: Kolaborasi Tanah Jawa, Kolaborasi 90-an, and Kolaborasi Tanah Air. A host of top musicians filled the stage over three consecutive days, from Denny Caknan, Tipe-X, Iwan Fals, Dewa 19 feat. Ello, to Hindia, Feast, and Perunggu on the closing day.
Amidst the lively music stage, +62 Coffee used the festival momentum to introduce its latest innovation, Poskopi +62. This concept features a mobile coffee truck specifically designed to reach places that are difficult for permanent coffee outlets to access.
Head of Department +62 Coffee, Restu, said the enthusiasm of the younger generation at the festival proved a positive response to coffee products oriented towards healthy drinks. Meanwhile, General Manager +62 Coffee, Arnold, hopes the mobile truck can form a new trend that blends with the daily activities of young people.
“With +62 Coffee stores, we can enjoy the service and the place, but Poskopi +62 is more mobile, able to reach places that are somewhat difficult to access,” said Restu in a statement on Tuesday (18/8/2026).
The peak moment on the final day also marked the official introduction of dr. Tirta as the brand ambassador for +62 Coffee.
“For me, what is interesting about Poskopi +62 is one thing: the coffee now comes to us. We don’t always have to go into a coffee shop. While travelling, during activities, or gathering with friends, we can still enjoy coffee,” said dr. Tirta.
In addition to the music stage and coffee truck, the festival complemented the communal space for visitors through the Festival Kuliner Nusantara zone, which presented a variety of traditional dishes from various regions.
